Mountain bike rental for kids
We have children's mountain bikes for rent, suitable for children as young as 5 years old. For the smallest mountain bikers in the family, you have the opportunity to rent one of our Feva Starseats, where children aged 2-4 years can ride with them on their parents' bike.
We'll help you get started
Our skilled staff will be happy to help plan a route that suits your level and desires for the trip. The tracks in the Svinklove plantation are well marked and it is easy to find around on your own. With our trail map in your pocket, you can easily take advantage of the dirt roads to circle back to the start of your favorite descent or find a way home when your legs can no longer!
We have the equipment under control
It is hugely important to us that you get the best experience when you are going to enjoy a ride on the good tracks in the area. That's why we make sure all bikes are in top condition. They are continuously replaced or thoroughly serviced every winter, and of course we check the bikes after each rental and carry out regular repairs as needed.

When you pick up your mountain bike in Slettestrand, you can also buy the latest edition of our MTB track card, an MTB Slettestrand drink bottle and snacks for the trip, bike clothes, spare parts etc.

Have your height ready when booking and use the size guide below to choose the bike that's right for you. If you are in between two sizes, we recommend that you choose the smaller size.
Adult Cycles
- 148-157 cm: Adult XS (27.5")
- 157-168 cm: Adult S
- 168-178 cm: Adult M
- 178-188 cm: Adult L
- 188-198 cm: Adult XL
Children's Bikes
- 110-125 cm: Kids 20"
- 120-140 cm: Kids 24"
- 135-152 cm: Child 26"
Practical
- The bikes will be picked up between 8.30 am and 9.45 am and returned no later than the end of your rental period.
- All our rental bikes come with flat flat pedals, so you don't have to wear special cycling shoes for the ride — you can easily get away with regular fitness shoes. Unfortunately, we do not have click-pedals available.
- We recommend ending the trip with a well-deserved cup of coffee and homemade cake, cold draft beer or something good in Restaurant Slettestrand, while you relive the highlights of the trip — we call it ** #aftertrail **!

We recommend purchasing insurance that covers the following damages to the bike during the rental period — indicative replacement/repair prices if you have NOT purchased insurance can be viewed in parenthesis.

Rules when riding our rental mountain bikes
- When driving a ride, it is at your own risk.
- Stolen or lost bike will be replaced by bearings.
- Cracked frame is replaced by bearings.
- If you have punctures or if you have other defects that make you unable to ride home, make sure you get yourself and your bike back to Slettestrand.
- It is required to use a bicycle helmet when riding our rental bikes.
- Biking on the beach is NOT allowed and therefore not allowed on our rental bikes.
