MTB for beginners

Mountain biking is a great fun way to experience nature and anyone who can ride a bike can join! The course is relevant if you already do a bit of MTB or if you would like to know what it is.
We meet at Feriecenter Slettestrand and ride in droves to our MTB technical course, which we have built in order to create a fun and effective training area for riders of all levels. Together with our trained and certified instructor, we use the obstacle course obstacles to practice the basic techniques so you can feel confident on the bike and ready to get out into the woods!
We finish the course with a walk through the forest back to Feriecenter Slettestrand. Along the way, we will test our learned techniques on some of the good tracks in Svinklove Plantation. Do not hesitate to sign up for our course: “MTB for beginners” — you will get a good and fun experience on the bike, as well as a feel for what mountain biking is! **Who can join? ** This is an advantage if you are fairly used to cycling, but previous experience on mountain biking is not necessary and you do not need to be in very good shape either. The team is primarily for adults and young people, but children aged 12 and with some experience of cycling can also take part.
If you ride e-MTB, you are also welcome to the course. For children under 12 years of age, we would recommend our course: “MTB for children”. Trained Instructors Esben Kronborg is part of the team behind Feriecenter Slettestrand. Esben has the highest certification for instructors in Europe and also trains other instructors. During busy periods, Esben is assisted by skilled, trained instructors in our network - of course, all with the minimum certification D-MTBing1.
You can therefore be sure that your instructors know what they are doing and can provide safe, professional and high-quality technical training. Feriecenter Slettestrand is actually one of the very few places where one can receive training that prepares the instructor for the international EO-MTBING exam for MTB instructors and guides. Bike Rental There is an opportunity to rent one of our cool rental mountain bikes in connection with the course - booking needed!

Praktisk information til kurset:
- Vi mødes omklædte til kursets starttidspunkt ved receptionen på Feriecenter Slettestrand, Slettestrandvej 140, 9690 Fjerritslev.
- Det er et krav, at der bæres godkendt og intakt cykelhjelm under hele kurset (hjelm er inkl. i evt. cykelleje).
- Vi anbefaler herudover tøj tilpasset årstiden og aktiviteten
- Medbring fyldt drikkedunk og evt. en lille snack (drikkedunk kan købes i receptionen).
- Medbring gerne sygesikringskort.
- Hvis du/I har nogle sygdomme, allergier, fysiske begrænsninger eller lignende, som du mener er relevant for instruktøren at vide, bedes du oplyse os om dette inden kursets start.
