Kronborg runs the majority of our courses and guided tours, but he also has a handful of D-MTBing-trained and experienced instructors who help with events, during the high season, etc. Esben is a trained EO-MTbing instructor and guide and certified tutor of other instructors and guides as well as censor for the international exam. Esben has been teaching MTB professionally since 2009, but also has 35 years of MTB experience in XC, enduro, endurance, stage races, adventureraces and many years of experience in club work on a voluntary level. Esben is also a trained public school teacher and instructor from the Armed Forces.

MTB Camp for Kids & Youthby Feriecenter Slettestrand A/S

In week 31 we are ready with a cool MTB camp for kids. The camp is on three days from Thursday to Saturday with overnight stays from Friday to Saturday. Our goal with the camp is for the children to gain a wider knowledge of the diversity of mountain biking and to have the opportunity to meet new friends in the sport. With a focus on learning and safety, we will work especially with driving technology in different situations, but we will also explore nature, laugh, have fun, eat cake and much more. Children's camp 2026 is for ages 9 to 16 and with room for 18 participants. *Experience nature's challenges on mountain biking! * MTB Slettestrand welcomes you to an exciting Trail/Enduro weekend - two great days for all of us who love to give the gas on the technical tracks and be challenged on the bike! The weekend is for those who like to work with the technical challenges of the track. The goal can be both play and creativity on the track, as well as more speed with enduro races and the Trail Cup in mind. In addition to exciting routes and technical challenges, there is of course also time for coziness, relaxation and good food. We believe that socializing is an important part of the experience, which is why we make sure you get the opportunity to meet other like-minded riders and share your experiences with them. MTB for beginnersby Feriecenter Slettestrand A/S

Mountain biking is a great fun way to experience nature and anyone who can ride a bike can join! The course is relevant if you already do a bit of MTB or if you would like to know what it is. We meet at Feriecenter Slettestrand and ride in droves to our MTB technical course, which we have built in order to create a fun and effective training area for riders of all levels. Together with our trained and certified instructor, we use the obstacle course obstacles to practice the basic techniques so you can feel confident on the bike and ready to get out into the woods! We finish the course with a walk through the forest back to Feriecenter Slettestrand. Along the way, we will test our learned techniques on some of the good tracks in Svinklove Plantation. Do not hesitate to sign up for our course: “MTB for beginners” — you will get a good and fun experience on the bike, as well as a feel for what mountain biking is! *Who can join? * This is an advantage if you are fairly used to cycling, but previous experience on mountain biking is not necessary and you do not need to be in very good shape either. The team is primarily for adults and young people, but children aged 14 and with some experience of cycling can also take part. If you ride e-MTB, you are also welcome to the course. For children under 14 years of age, we would recommend our course: “MTB for children”. Trained Instructors Esben Kronborg is part of the team behind Feriecenter Slettestrand. Esben has the highest certification for instructors in Europe and also trains other instructors. MTB for kidsby Feriecenter Slettestrand A/S

MTB teaching, fun and fuss on the technique track 🚴🤪 We are going for a walk on our cool technique track and through play and fun exercises we improve our technique on the bike. We're going to have a good time and maybe make some new friends. Since we are on the technical field all the time, it does not matter that there is a difference in level, but it is an advantage that you are quite used to cycling and about 9-14 years old. You don't need to have tried MTB before. A little younger can also participate if a parent is on the sidelines or you are used to riding MTB in a club, for example. Feel free to bring your parents along so they can help you along the way or just see how cool you are on the bike! Are you comfortable with being alone without your parents, can you also just allow them to have some time off — maybe they want to spend the time on a walk out on the tracks in Svinklov Plantation? The content for each course can be found under the individual date. For the sake of learning, it will be a rather specific theme. In general, we work with more advanced techniques and strategies. The courses can be about jumps, steep terrain both up and down, preparation for specific disciplines and competition, riding on e-MTB or about specific maneuvers such as endo turns, types of turns, etc. *Who can join? * Are you ready for the course if you are used to riding MTB, want to learn more and feel confident on blue tracks and part of the red ones? The trail in Svinkløv — but not as you know it!by Feriecenter Slettestrand A/S

Experience Pig Clover Plantation in a whole new way! Our trained MTB guides and instructors know every corner of the area around Slettestrand, and they are ready to take you around to their absolute favorite mountain biking spots. Forget about just following the marked trail! We get out to the funniest descents, challenging ascents and the most beautiful views. We use different shortcuts and drive selected sections several times - and you can count on our instructors along the way to hand out driving techniques that suit the track and you, so that you get the most out of the trip! *Who can join? * The tour is mainly aimed at adults and young people who have tried mountain biking before and can get around safely on the blue tracks. We're going to race on blue and red tracks. No one is pressured to drive anything they don't have the prerequisites to drive, and our instructors are trained to assist with that assessment. If you have not tried mountain biking before, we recommend that you start with our course: “MTB for beginners”. Get away safely with our certified mountain bike guides Our mountain bike team consists of 2 permanent mountain bike instructors/guides plus a team of external instructors, all of whom have at least D-MTBING 1 certification as well as several years of experience teaching MTB. You can therefore be sure that your mountain bike guide on the tour knows what they are doing and can deliver a safe and professional mountain bike ride of high quality. MTB Technology & Guided Tour — Blue Trackby Feriecenter Slettestrand A/S

Everyone has something to improve on the bike and most of the team here can get something out of. If you are new to MTB, it is safe to practice on the blue tracks. If you have a lot of experience, the blue tracks make it possible to practice some of the things that are really difficult. We typically practice swing types, lines and pumps for speed and control on these teams. But there is also room for us to work with current issues and needs. Who can join? The course is for both young people and adults, and MTB-accustomed children have also successfully participated. In other words, you are ready for the course if you feel like riding MTB and, in the case of children, can manage a few hours in the forest and 10-14 km on the bike. You are welcome, whether you are driving XC, E-MTB, trail, enduro or just renting a MTB for the first time. Trained Instructors Esben Kronborg is part of the team behind Feriecenter Slettestrand. MTB Technique & Guided Tour — Red/Black Trackby Feriecenter Slettestrand A/S

We visit some of the more difficult sections in Svinklove and practice our technique in steep, rustic terrain - but there is probably also a blue track or two sneaking in, where we can get some air under the wheels. We practice basic techniques such as line selection, position, etc. in the difficult terrain, but as needed we also pick in the menu of jumps, cutties, line selections, endoturns, scandiflick, stoppies, etc. And no, you don't have to know it beforehand, but an instructor can be the shortcut to mastering. Who can join? You are ready for the course if you are used to MTB and feel reasonably comfortable on most red tracks and have the courage to practice, possibly with help, at places like Marie's Drop and some of the black tracks.
